What We Do

Most arguments fail before they even begin. Not because the truth is complicated, but because clarity is avoided. Emotion replaces reasoning. Assertions replace evidence. And conclusions are reached long before the thinking is done. This space exists to push back on that.

TryToRefute.me is a collection of responses, by a single author, to modern claims, ideas, and narratives that don't hold up under scrutiny. Not with outrage or noise, but with logic, evidence, and clear, structured reasoning. Every claim should be supported, every argument should be testable, and every conclusion should follow from what came before it. Citations matter. Definitions matter. Consistency matters. Emotional reactions are not arguments. Popularity is not proof. Intentions are not outcomes.

You won't find slogans here or appeals to feeling dressed up as facts. You won't find positions that collapse the moment they're examined closely. What you will find are arguments built to be challenged, explained plainly, and defended with reasoning that holds up under pressure.

If something is wrong, it will be explained. If something is true, it will stand on its own. No insults, no theatrics, no shortcuts.

If you disagree, good. Try to refute it.
